May Memories

We had the joy and privilege to host our dear friends the Hunts for a couple days this month. Here we are throwing water balloons in the courtyard.
Good thing everyone brought their suits!
We also spent half the day at a near by pool and had a great time splashing and swimming.
Vivi fell asleep watching a movie... so rare!
Here is my wonderful Mother's Day breakfast made by Lily! Toast w/ butter, a milk box, granola w/ yogurt and even two pieces of chocolate and a piece of gum! She knows what I like!
This is THE THING to do around town. You attach a tennis ball to a really long rubber band and tie it to a weight. The kids had a ball practicing their swing.
Cooking class! We had fun making a fruit salad and pizza and then had more fun eating it for lunch.

 The Olivet Show!
Olivet is the sweetest little pea. She has been so much fun. She currently can find her way around the house and loves to stand up on furniture.
We have two new additions to our fish tank! (This is not one of them)... Our good friends moved away and left us with their two goldfish! They are doing well and seem to be liking their new home :)
Si si will be TWO in August already!!

The day after a wonderful Mother's Day I found this note inside this notebook by my desk.
So sweet. Lily loves to buy gifts for people and will often use her allowance to treat her sibblings.
Out side on a letter hunt
Cade, Nate, Lil & Bright all playing together one last time
 The "H" is over there!
 The "Che" Gang
They didn't have a tennis racquet on this day, so the boys set the weight down and pulled the ball as far as it would go ... and then let go!
Putting a bandaid on an owie- so interesting!
 Pool time!
Seems like we just trimmed my bangs. Rats.
 Orange bucket? What orange bucket?
This sums up the feeling of this stage of life.
Finding random surprises all over the house.
Cleaning up another mess.
Sharpening another pencil.
Laughing at the silliness of it all.
Guiding a chubby hand down the hall to the actual toys again.
Holding on tight to a little one in my arms with a special love inside believing that one day this little person will grow up and be doing the same thing.
Incase I didn't mention this in the past, here is Caedmon's list of favorite people in the world.
4. Mom
3. Dad
2. Olivet
1. God
I think Olivet knows she is Caedmon's favorite :)
To create. Another sweet gift from the Lord.
Last Saturday we took a family trip to the art store on the bus. We were all pretty tuckered out by the time we got home, but managed to squeeze out some energy to use our new paint colors!
Caed bought a roller with his allowance
Dassah's mask... I'm not quite sure what it was supposed to be even before the paint...
Vivi's mask was a sweet little girl...
Lily painting in her sketch book
The joy of not being supervised for a whole minute
This paint is NOT washable! We had a smurf in the house for a couple days!
Michelle has spent a few nights eating over with us, so she decided to make us YUMMY Lime Chicken, Pineapple Pork and Mashed Potatoes. She even did the dishes after dinner! What a friend!
And finally.. to end the month on a fun note... some treats from the states!! Thanks Emme & Miles!
