Cat Naps

I hope to be savoring these ages. Life is ___ . Fun. Tiring. Funny. Good. Not good. Noisy. Chaotic. Peaceful. Blessed. I'm thankful for cat naps in-between :).
Porter Porker @ 1 month old!
Sweet homemade Minion Slippers from Auntie Eva in China!
 Kisses for and from Mimi!
We all enjoyed a wonderful one day visit to Mimi and Papa's cabin. We had a beautiful day together!
 Mosquitoes were not invited.
Still smiling after all these years :).
 A smile and a frown :)
If Porter isn't in my arms or the crib, he's probably with his biggest brother or biggest sister!
 the babes in the bibs
 lovin' bein' passed around
Our wonderful friends Stephen & Krista came for a visit before heading back to China. We enjoyed a wonderful day together. Here's Porter's buddy Micah. He is a doll!
BFFs Lydia & Lily (& Corrie & Abby both in China)
(I was finally able to get a "smiling" shot after a round of goofy ones :)
 Buds Cade & Josiah
Thanks for a great visit!
Porter checking out his Great Auntie Karen! She is great!!
Besides little naps, yummy food does the soul good! This is a tasty casserole from friends at church. We enjoyed a great time of fellowship over some awesome food!

Olivet turned 4 this month!
 Happy Birthday sweet girl!
We spent the day up at our family's cottage on Bear Lake.
The weather was gorgeous.
Bombs away! (Lil jumping off the raft)
 Cannon Ball Cade!
 August risking it
 Olivet LOVED all her presents!
A pink horsey with barrettes and a brush!
A decorated tin can to put money in!
An AMAZING dress up out fit with a cool cape (and swimming lessons)!
Olivet, you are one special little girl. We couldn't be more blessed!
A few naps later... and Porter is (almost) 2 months old!

And finally... it's SO hard to say goodbye! Our sweet neighbors, who lived across the hall from us for a month, moved out two days ago for a few more friend and family visits before returning to China.
They surprised us with a ton of clothes from their kids, and lots and lots and lots of special treats!
I felt pretty teary over the last couple days knowing we won't be near for a quick conversation, a helping hand and an egg to borrow.
The kids all said goodbye pretty well. They have had a lot of practice. I have too, but this time it was still hard.
So as we stamp and make silly monsters, we will be thinking of them!
And also we are reminded of all the wonderful friendships we have be blessed with throughout our lives. So, whether we are catching bugs (with this really cool bug truck) or catching a nap, our hearts are filled to overflowing.
