"Brothers and Sisters are Here to Stay!"

Lily has been singing these lines for weeks and I can't get them out of my head, "Best friends can move away; pet dogs can go astray; but brothers and sisters are here to stay!"
GG & Gampy visited earlier this week to meet baby Vivianna and to take Lil and Cade swimming at the motel!
They even threw a mini surprise birthday party since we won't be together to celebrate!
Uncle Phil & Girlfriend Danielle on their visit to La Crosse;
it was so nice to meet her!
getting some practice
Lily cried when it was time for Danielle to leave :(.
But was happy with all the presents from GG & Gampy!

This was cooler than watching National Geographic. There were three bald eagles in the tree right out our window capturing prey. One had a duck in his beak but dropped it on the lawn when it was startled by the commotion from our window. Their wing span looked beautiful as they flew.
We had a great visit from Me me & Papa also! Mom was feeling under the weather and was so thankful for all the extra helping hands!
"Uh-0h Bubba!" is pretty much what Hadassah said all day.
Uh oh Bubba is right!
Lil asked for lunch so I told her I'd make her some as soon as I was done feeding the baby. She said, "That's ok! I'll make it myself!" What a peach.

About a week old
Each time Hadassah passes the crib she is just as excited.

And some pics from b.b. (before baby).
A super fun dinner with the Hale family
A not so super fun time a the park :).
Cade is a bike riding machine.
When Lily did this it totally reminded me of myself in high school. What a character.
(This was the car we used as our van was getting fixed).

Welcome Vivianna Hope Golackson

Dad's introduction video

Born to worship God!

Not a heavyweight like brother. Mom was thankful!

Little toes!

Proud parents!

Proud daddy!

Sporting her new hat from GG.

Mommy loves her baby girl!

Caedmon was the first one to hold Vivianna. Such a nice big brother.

Lily could hardly wait for her turn.

Don't let this picture fool you. Hadassah is not a very happy camper right now.

One big happy and busy family. 4 kids under 5 (for the next 2 weeks that is).

Lily is sooo happy!

Mommy bought Hadassah her own baby. We'll see if it works!

October Outings

We had a fun walk down to the dock by the spillway. Might be one of the last before it gets to cold!
Cade riding over all the leaves
Lily had a costume party at preschool. It was so much fun! Look at all these characters!
Princess Lily & Princess Malana
Hammering nails into a pumpkin
Cade joined Lily for this fun day. This is his favorite costume: Strong Man!
Lily the Artist
The kids frosted cookies for the college students from the Family Communication Class that mom and dad shared at.
Dad painting the dock on one of the last nice days of the season... with two eager onlookers.
And one sad Dassah... hopefully more teeth will appear soon!
We hit a deer one weekend on the way to Monroe! After the hit, the buck got up and ran back into the woods. It wasn't that scary, just a little surprising.
This was that freezing cold day... the first day it snowed! I love the kids expressions in this picture. We were out for about one minute and they already wanted to go inside to warm up!
Staying warm inside with cousin Gavin
Cade & Lil at swimming lessons! They did awesome!
A big smile after the last class.
Lily finally put her head under water on the last day. She was so proud!
Nat & Tim came for a short and fun visit to watch the Packer/ Viking game! It was so nice to have their whole family here.
And to compare bellies again :O)
The whole crew of kiddos
(Hopefully by the next post there will be two more additions!)
