Living the Vida Loca

Sometimes our life is crazy and I just have to accept that. And give thanks for it. The emotions that this picture evokes from my heart sum up my feelings from the last month. Excitement, light, dark, tired, alive, peaceful, busy etc. I also love the contrast between the world being lit by the moon (the light given from its creator) and the world being lit by electricity. I better go to bed soon, that's too many deep thoughts for one picture caption.

This was a fun walk to a near by Thai Restaurant. One of our first family outings in early January.
Oh, that must be where they 'store' the dried noodles used in our dishes... right on the table in the corner in a huge plastic bag. Hm.
The food was pretty awse. What looked like a bean paste filled pineapple actually ended up being this sweet and yummy tasting purple rice that got devoured rapidly. Also, this was the beginning of my new love for egg and tomato soup.

Isn't this adorable? A little Chinese girl inspecting the "yang wa wa" (baby from a foreign land).
Hadassah on the orange metal 'horsey'.
Viv does not realize at this point what an exciting place she is in. It's an indoor, padded, children's play place. I suppose wherever she can stare at mom, she'll sport a grin.
Another little Chinese friend giving Hadassah some assistance.
"Hey! A big boot! Why not climb it?"
This is a Christmas Tree made entirely of 7-up bottles. It was set up infront of this gi-normous indoor/ outdoor mall.
Here are some friends that the kids met after a few days of living here. They are now back in the States for a few months but will return in April.
I wanted a picture of this renovation project close to our home, so I gave the camera to Lily. I didn't want to look like the nosey foreigner. Is that mean?
She took a few more shots...
Life from a five year olds perspective.
Is this a hint for the next birthday gift? A thimagotchawhat??
Ok, back to my picture taking skills. Or lack of. Well, whoever might have taking this shot, I think it's pretty cute.
TWO MONTHS and already losing hair
So this is what our new home looked like for quite a few days. The movers took 6 full days (stopped at night) to arrive at this destination with one huge truck. They did awesome. The only thing that was broken was the coffee pot. Not a big deal except now when it's so obvious I need a little caffine to spice up these coments.
Cade, happy on his wheels.
The girls wouldn't even look up for the picture. They were so excited to see all their toys.

Cade (in his snow suit from last year and also his swim cap and floaties) helping Josh pound some nails in with his toy hammer.
Viv happy to be home.
Cade just LOVES his shaving kit and asks to shave every day. (The shaving cream is lemon scent, and no mom, there's not a real blade on the end of his razor).
Viv happy to be out of the home.
Look to the right and stick out your tongue if you forgot your sleeve protectors.
