Normal Life

Josh and I woke up this morning to the sound of Lily doing dishes! Then she made the beds, helped clean up the toys and even folded laundry with me tonight, 10 hours after her first sweet desire to help. Hadassah on the other hand did things like this most of the day :
In the city we live, there is an excellent place to go for homeschooling friends and resources. Last week, Lily, Cade, Viv and I attended a Science Fair. We listened to an hour and a half of neat presentations on the eye ball, the heart etc. This week we are preparing for an Art and Writing Contest! Lots of work, but lots of fun.

I picked up a cheap stroller for a quick run here and there. I didn't even realize what it said until we got home...
Just warning you, Hadassah & Vivianna, "This might hurt" :)
The little ones had some pressing needs as Lily and I attempted to do some school work, so I gave her the camera and told her to put together 5 sentences and then take a picture so I could look at them. So cute!

Besides playing "Uno," this is Lily & Caedmon's favorite thing to do: playing "Memory"! We have three or four different versions (Strawberry short cake, Dora), but the "Faces from around the World" one is by far the best. (I'll have to take some pics of their faces and the nicknames they have recieved for next time). The best part is designing a shape before the game even begins!

The brand of this outfit is actually "Little Lindsey"! I think Viv looks like a Stoffel.
This doesn't happen often, but when it does, I try to capture the moment. A meat dish and 3 veggies?! And each dish turned out so yummy. I love a good meal.
A little friend trying out Cade's bike. (Good thing he's a little old for split pants :).
The Mother's Day Spectacular:
A fresh fruit salad!
Yummy omlettes!
And a special game of "Memory"!
Not to mention a night at the Roller Rink!
Some of the folks skating apeared to be figure skaters (on ice usually) who were just practicing. It was awesome to watch.
Before...
And After!
Here is our up and coming Country Music Singer!!
Our 15 minutes a day of "Drop Everything and Read" time; or as Cade calls it, "Stop! Drop! & Read!"
Hadassah "reading" Lily's "Learn to Read" book
kids are such a blessing
A fun hour at a near by outdoor pool.
"Are you sure she doesn't need arm floaties too?"
Vivi excited about her first time in a pool though sad she doesn't get to wear a super sweet swim cap yet.
Smile if you like to play under your jumperoo!
What a mover
Another "fun" meal: mango sticky rice
Hadassah was a fan
peace out y'all
"Just keep the headband on for the picture"
