The Latest Happenings

Our family in the airport on the way to Josh's class. We've got quite the travelers!
I don't know who enjoys the walkways more, adults or kids.
This is the home we were blessed to stay in for a week. The kids didn't mind all the fun new toys. And I didn't really mind the loud cultural music that blared from the square right out the window. Our stay was very enjoyable.
This is "The Key Guy" on the side of the road. Step right up! Give him any key- and he can make a duplicate!
This walkway is called "Pedestrian Street." No cars aloud! The kids had a ball running up and down and climbing on the rocks.
Caedmon's shirt is off because about 2 minutes before this shot he fell into the small one foot deep, hundred foot long decoration filled with water as he had his eye on another boy's toy boat. He cried and cried, not because he was hurt, but because his McQueen shirt got wet!
Dass loving it
"There you go Dassah! That's it!"
"I'm 10 months. My big sister is 4."
Lil loves adventure. A safe adventure that is.
The kids made a handful of new friends during our time here. This is her older friend Hannah who she adored. I guess when you both have a love for Dora in common...
Here's Caedmon in between twins Cade and Cole, Hannah's brothers.
Hadassah's 10 month pic. (I don't know why she doesn't do well with the pictures in the red chair at home!)
Had to see the pandas. How about some grass elephants first though.
Kind of makes you want to relax! This is totally the "attitude" of the people in this city. Super laid back and slow paced.
This happens about every few moments every time we go out into public.
We thought (wrongly) these cardboard pandas were meant for a picture with a person behind. It made me laugh to see how the picture turned out.
Heading back home! Yeay! (We ended up with 5 seats in a row on both flights! That really helped our little movers. They did great.)
Caedmon happy to be home!
I wish I got on tape the kids reactions when we first walked in the door. Hadassah just squealed and explored all her old toys like she had never seen them. Lil had to try on all her dress up clothes before bed. Caedmon just ran from room to room to room to room and back.
Getting ready for a run :o)
It's hard to believe that just the beginning of April we had to dress in layers and coats and hats etc...
Visiting our friends Pieter and Sara who live down the street.
Bath & Bubbles
Stopping to grab some juice on the way home on a hot day.
The kids were so intrigued by this man shampooing a woman's head. I would have never guessed they would want to stand there to watch.
"Dad, it's a little bright out here."
"That's better!"
I've been running out of creative ideas. Here was a winner though. Painting the walls with water!

Giggly Girl
I did ask Caedmon to pose, but I wasn't expecting this!
(Caedmon had to have his right pant leg rolled up this entire day. ???)
Lily's Pretty Pose
Acting Like Elephants
I've known this lady for about 1 minute now, why not snap a pic?
The kids kept asking me to take their pictures. That's rare.
Ending with an applause for our sweet potato and banana picnic.

March Happiness

You can sort of tell what each kid is thinking...
"Is this close enough?"
"Yes! Another chance to hold Dass!"
"My siblings adore me."
9 month picture... if you can believe this is the best of 5 shots.
Hadassah pulled a chair on her head right as I was heading out for 36 hours... hence the bump. It lasted quite a while.
Lily carrying Caedmon around, probably because she couldn't find Hadassah!
silly smiles
Think we can fit another?
Best Friends
and second best and third...
Airplane Cade to the doll cootie rescue
Mom at her job site
Dad at his job site

silly face salads

Hat's off to Hadassah for standing for 10 seconds straight today (didn't catch it on film)!
Happy to go for a Ride

This is what our almost daily trip to the fruit and veggie shop looks like.
("Mom! Come on!")
While I was gone, Josh took the kids out to eat. He got lots of help!
Hanging out until next time...
