Here'th to Lily before thee lootheth her tooth

Tomorrow morning Lily has a Dentist appointment to get her tooth pulled. She's pretty excited about it since at her last visit she got a princess sticker, a little ring, and a hot-pink thing to put over her nose to practice for the anesthesia. I hope she'll be as brave as she is when she's around fish! She must get it from her dad!
So besides a lot of fishing, the boys have been doing a lot of mowing. You can hardly call mowing a chore riding this beast.
Who's even who? Hint: I'm the one who forgot to tuck in my shirt :o).
(Our due dates are 8 days apart!)
Here are Nat's first two cuties: Gretta & Sam
Where's the frog?
In the bucket!
(Uncle Phil was helping Josh find bait for fishing)
Lily thought that was pretty cool. She adores Uncle Phil.
Cade's latest comment about Uncle Phil: "I love how Uncle Phil always tackles me!"
Sweet Gretts
Smooth Sam
My folks daringly kept the 3 kids for 4 days so Josh and I could have a restful rest at their cabin in Suring. It was SO refreshing.
Thanks mom and dad!!
Josh & Tim reunited with Caedmon and my dad at a Packer Scrimmage.
It was so great to see the kids again! Time for more bubbles!
Lily would dress up all day every day if she could. She looks how I feel some days.
On the way back to La Crosse we were so delighted to meet up with our good friends the Hunts. Here are the best buds Lil & Abby. They recently returned to East Asia.
Some more good friends Lauren and Tom came to visit (from Georgia!) for a bit. It was so nice to see them.
The same day our friend Becky came from Illinois to stay for a few days. I'm glad our kids are people pe0ple (most of the time). We had a really nice visit.
Yeay for friends!

Becky & Cade fishing & chatting

Before Becky headed back home, she baked us some super tasty lasagna! What a treat!
Then within the hour of that departure, Ye ye and Nai nai came to stay for a few days!
(Just today Caedmon said, "I really, really, really miss Nai nai.")
Besides Jeff and my bitter loss to Josh and Marie playing Cribbage, our time together was really nice. :)

When I see fish like this, I always wonder what they looked like after Jesus cooked some for his disciples that time after his resurrection, and how they just smoked them, and peeled them apart and ate them... for breakfast.

About an hour after Jeff and Marie left for Monroe, we loaded up the car and headed to Green Bay to share a little bit at my sister's church. Then we spent a couple days at the Stoffel family's cottage on Bear Lake.
Captain Caedmon
"Look at!" Dass just loves to point.
(This time at the pontoon)
...And this time at the mounted fish
GG & Dass cooling off
Lily's turn to navigate. Josh said she steered home and parked the boat all by herself! Next lesson: changing diapers.

Cade's turn. He didn't drive the real boat much different then he turns and spins his toy cars.
But he sure is one excellent goggle wearer!
