saran wrap- Lily's work of art from last Christmas!

My friend Karen has a similar picture on her blog from her daughter decorating their tree!
I love the mind of a child :O)
"Have you seen any leaves?" -Mr. Giraffe
What a picture! Too cool!

I'm glad I have so many pictures of our smiley girl because this week she's been so fussy... it's nice to remember those dimples.

Lily turned 4! She got a "patient" who she adores from GG and Gampy.
The tradition in Lily's preschool is to bring a small gift for all of your classmates on your birthday. I'm not sure why I didn't take on out of the bag for the picture, but we got some little bath toys... winde-able fish and people.

Lily requested a "star" birthday cake. When she saw the one I made for her she said, "I meant I wanted the star cut out of the center (of a rectangular cake)!" Well! That would have been a bit easier! Ha ha. She redeemed herself at bedtime when she said her favorite part of her day was her cake :o).
We went swimming at a hotel in the morning, then met Lily's friend Abby at McD's for lunch.

Abby gave Lil the cutest t-shirt with their picture on it. Lily loves it!

Then after quiet time we made pizza, ate cake and then watched Charlotte's Web together as a family. What a fun day!

Hadassah trying out carrots. Good thing for a big helper sister!

Lil was helping me peel carrots so Cade asked if he could peel something. I gave him the cucumbers then looked over after a few minutes realizing he pretty much peeled the whole cucumber down to nothing! :O)

The Morning Do
The Afternoon Do
The Evening Do

Maybe we'll have to wait a few months to try this again :o)

Don't miss our next entry... with memories from Yeye and Nainai (Josh's mom and step dad) who are coming tomorrow! We can't wait!
