Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from the Golackson kids!
Scroll down to see a few picks from our new location in East Asia! We were not sad to say good bye to the snow and hello to the 60's; however, we miss our friends and family!!!
Auntie Christa came from Texas to visit a few days before we moved out of our house. The kids enjoyed the fun and Josh and I enjoyed the company!
She MADE the kids their Christmas presents!
All matching outfits they wore at a JC Penny photo shoot the next day.
Viv pledging allegiance in her 1 month picture :o)
Josh & Tim pumped to be at a Packer Game together just weeks before our departure.
We spent the week before Christmas in Monroe. It was so nice to see all the aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmas and grandpas!
This moment was so quiet. The food must have been good!

Mimi got this neat clock for Christmas with pictures of all her grand kids.
Our friends from China Michael and Vanessa were able to take a few days to celebrate Christmas with us! They are taking classes in Orlando, Florida and were happy to get a change of pace in Monroe, Wisconsin!
This was Michael's White Elephant gift! He is definitely more of a Packer fan after years of Josh's influence.

After 24 hours of plane rides and lay overs, we made it to China!
We were given 3 extra seats on the longest flight and were thankful for pretty well-behaved kids.
Here is my first attempt at leaving our apartment with 4 kids. I can't even remember where we went.
Jet lag lasted a while for me and Hadassah. The others seemed to adjust pretty quickly to the time difference. Here is our first day after going to bed at 3a.m. and waking up at 10a.m.
The food was excellent, though Cade wasn't so excited about it at first.
We are staying in a friends apartment until we can move into our own before the 29th when our friends return from the U.S. This is the view from one of the kids' rooms.
Here is a picture of our new living room we'll be living in by February! Go orange! I chuckled at the orangeness of it all... our new stroller is orange and so is my diaper bag... along with one of the walls (to the right in the pic), the couch and chairs (not to mention the tiger print pillows), the kitchen table chairs and MORE. Where was that tailor's shop again?
We are thankful to be moving into the ONLY 4 bedroom apartment available in this complex where most of our expat friends live. Praise God. A huge answer to prayers.
Vivianna in her "burrito" (named by the kids) in the baby carrier.
"Hi" from the basement of our complex! (There's no ramp on the first floor). There are also no stray cats on the first floor.
I love the green! (Outside the complex we're in now)
Hugs all around!
