Normal Life

Josh and I woke up this morning to the sound of Lily doing dishes! Then she made the beds, helped clean up the toys and even folded laundry with me tonight, 10 hours after her first sweet desire to help. Hadassah on the other hand did things like this most of the day :
In the city we live, there is an excellent place to go for homeschooling friends and resources. Last week, Lily, Cade, Viv and I attended a Science Fair. We listened to an hour and a half of neat presentations on the eye ball, the heart etc. This week we are preparing for an Art and Writing Contest! Lots of work, but lots of fun.

I picked up a cheap stroller for a quick run here and there. I didn't even realize what it said until we got home...
Just warning you, Hadassah & Vivianna, "This might hurt" :)
The little ones had some pressing needs as Lily and I attempted to do some school work, so I gave her the camera and told her to put together 5 sentences and then take a picture so I could look at them. So cute!

Besides playing "Uno," this is Lily & Caedmon's favorite thing to do: playing "Memory"! We have three or four different versions (Strawberry short cake, Dora), but the "Faces from around the World" one is by far the best. (I'll have to take some pics of their faces and the nicknames they have recieved for next time). The best part is designing a shape before the game even begins!

The brand of this outfit is actually "Little Lindsey"! I think Viv looks like a Stoffel.
This doesn't happen often, but when it does, I try to capture the moment. A meat dish and 3 veggies?! And each dish turned out so yummy. I love a good meal.
A little friend trying out Cade's bike. (Good thing he's a little old for split pants :).
The Mother's Day Spectacular:
A fresh fruit salad!
Yummy omlettes!
And a special game of "Memory"!
Not to mention a night at the Roller Rink!
Some of the folks skating apeared to be figure skaters (on ice usually) who were just practicing. It was awesome to watch.
Before...
And After!
Here is our up and coming Country Music Singer!!
Our 15 minutes a day of "Drop Everything and Read" time; or as Cade calls it, "Stop! Drop! & Read!"
Hadassah "reading" Lily's "Learn to Read" book
kids are such a blessing
A fun hour at a near by outdoor pool.
"Are you sure she doesn't need arm floaties too?"
Vivi excited about her first time in a pool though sad she doesn't get to wear a super sweet swim cap yet.
Smile if you like to play under your jumperoo!
What a mover
Another "fun" meal: mango sticky rice
Hadassah was a fan
peace out y'all

Always Something New

Cade never ceases to surprise us. Here he is, only a couple days after his first day of Chinese Preschool. Already able to use chopsticks.
And just when we thought Hadassah was never going to share again... too bad Viv wasn't awake to enjoy it!
Hadassah's 1st french braid!
The kids' good friends Kayleigh and Zeb are heading back to the U.S. for a month. They will be missed!
(Reading a book together)
(And their favorite: playing dress up)
Here's something new: A new rule! No more chalk unless you bring your own water!
And new cloth diapers from Cotton Babies for Viv & Dass.
Lily spotted something new: some kind of pepper that made her laugh she thought it looked so silly!
This is where Josh goes to school. Well, not on the road, but right in the middle building.
Here are 3 reasons why it was a week before I got to feed Vivianna any baby food:
#1:
#2:
And, well, #3 ran away =)

We got a package from GG & Gampy!!! YEAY!! Thanks so much. Hours and hours of entertainment in one small box! Horray.
Point to who you love!
Vivi finally fitting in the cute outfit Auntie Christa made her.
These outfits were like a domino effect. I began with my Green Bay t, then Lily followed in suit. Caedmon coppied her and then dad wanted to join in the fun.
We were blessed to have a visitor stay with us for about a week. Zack lives in Thailand but wanted to visit other places in Asia before he returns to the states. We enjoyed his company and the kids had a ball. (The rest of the pics are from Zacks's camera)...
They went to a rock forrest. I'm surprised these lucky ducks didn't also get Josh's autograph!
Just incase you were wondering...
Here's Cade speeding down the ramp on his blades outside our home.
And taking a picture with his... chalk?
(This was before the NEW rule was put into place).
This is nothing NEW... just a small crowd around our family vehicle is all.
Trying out some fruit we thought was new, until the inside revealed itself. Nope. Had it before.
A spread of eras...

Help yourself!

Peace out ya'll!
