Notice the progression...
Two daisies and three lilies
Our trip to the old-folks home
This woman is deaf. Some where paralyzed and crippled. They all loved to see pictures of the kids and to have a conversation. Lily and Caedmon sent along with me some painted pictures with verses on them to give to the ayi's and shu shu's (aunties and uncles).
"Victory" (in Christ!)
This was the view from the spot we performed... we didn't know we had to perform until they announced we were going to perform! We sang a few sweet songs in English and Chinese. It was a hit.
I pass this sign almost daily, outside of our apartment. I just had to take a picture.
Just in case you were wondering if you could...
Lil and Cades just love this ramp outside of our apartment. And the double stroller just fits!
Bree turned ONE! And hosted a great party.
Lily just loves playing with her tea set. Notice all the dolls taking their naps in the background.
Chatting with the grandparents again!
The first time Caedmon went down this slide he cruised right up and then cruised right down head first, and loved every second.
Lily on the other hand is a bit more cautious.
Our first ride on the light rail
The kids did great!
Josh and his ge mer (guy friend) studying together
Jing Lin (my tutor) having fun with a lap of Gao's (Golackson's)
In the middle of studying, training, and teaching ABC's, me and the kids have found some time to explore the outdoors! Today we went to the Botanical Gardens with my good friend Ellen.
A one-man band
The flowers were gorgeous and smelled so good
Recently God has been placing on my heart the beauty of fellowship. One flower individually is beautiful. But put them together and look what you get! What a pleasing aroma!
It's all made by HIM
This is Cade's "Mr. Serious" look in the middle of a bite of lunch
Lots of class field trips today. I'm guessing this place will be packed in the next week for the May Holiday.
That's the way out, time for a nap!
Welcome to the picture journal of our family's journey through life. Our family desires to creatively find rest in Jesus as he leads and guides us every step of the way.

Life from a child's eyes. That sums up the last 2 months! We are doing well. We are enjoying adventure after adventure. We can hardly believe we'll be heading back to America in a month! Until we see you, enjoy the pics!
Lily left this band-aid on for 3 whole days. She was trying to fix the bump on her head she got from flying headfirst into the floor paneling after being so excited she went potty in her potty chair. What a good sport- still up for a craft!I made Cade some "special" paint, out of yogurt since the first thing he does with it anyway is put it in his mouth.
Before picture of a haircut; Caedmon inherited his fathers (cute) cowlicks
And a happy mister afterwards!
The bed truck that brought Lily's new big girl bed (photo taken from Lily's window)
Lily sleeps very well in her new bed, and hasn't fallen out yet! There's a pull out bed underneath for "buddy boy" when he gets a little bigger
Our new family member "Bubbles"... I almost woke the kids up from their naps the other day to see his amazing tricks... it looked like he was doing cartwheels down the ladder!
playin' with play-dough
"What?!" (what kid doesn't have a picture like this?)
The kids pulled up their chairs to the window and got their books out all by themselves! I was wondering why it was so quiet
Lily "helping mom" make candy easter eggs...
Who needs a purse when you have an Easter basket?
Hey buddy!
One of Caedmon's many "xiao pengyous" (little friends) who play in the courtyard daily
Older ladies exercising to a tape cassette; today they had little swords!
This is where we live! 7th floor, right hand corner
peek-a-boo
The international church's (passport required) Easter service... the worship was excellent
Happy Easter!
Best buds
more buds! The spring blossoms are just beautiful
"Caedmon! Mom said smile not frown!"
"Lily among thorns"
On Easter, Lily just LOVED getting her picture taken (rare), so I shot away
"ok, that's enough"
Josh's attempt at changing Abby's allegience to the Bears
Caedmon attempting to bump into anything to get a laugh ( a common nightly occurrence)
