snowflakes on noses and smiles on babies

Too bad it sometimes feels like time cruises full speed ahead and doesn't stop or slow down for us to catch up... or tick backwards the way this little man crawls!
As I ponder our months worth of memories, this new and wonderful swing set is being buried under snow! It's amazing how this view out of our kitchen window above the sink changes in time!
waiting patiently for a push :)
Happy Birthday to Viv and Sy guy- 2 party animals! It was only 6+ years ago my sister and I were blessed to carry these sweet ones in our bellies at the same time.
 Thanksgiving Day- Thankful for FAMILY
Another birthday! On Dec. 2nd, Lil turned 11!!! She had a couple of her closest friends over to play for the morning. My favorite part was listening in on their motherly/ daughterly conversations as they played house (with Porter as their baby :).
Our tradition for Lily's birthday is to make Christmas ornaments. This year (since finding supplies was a cinch) we tried making a variety. Above are cinnamon scented ornaments (Too bad they turned white when they dried. They were still pretty and smelled really good either way).
We baked mints inside cookie cutters and they turned out pretty cool looking, though a little sticky.
I love this age. We all had a really nice time!
The only snowball we could find in the beginning of December.
 Neighbors rock.
(What are they up to? Ha.)
We had a wonderful day picking out our tree at my Auntie Karen and Uncle Steve's house. I can just smell the fresh air thinking about it.
Auggie's nickname "The GOOSE" has changed primarily to "Auggie Doggie" and has recently morphed into "DAWG." Well, at least it's not "Tootie Cootie," the phrase he responds to everything with. Not yet anyway :).
 uummm. how about bigger?
Viv's hat looks cute. Too bad she lost it already! Oh well. It worked nice for a couple weeks :).
 Here's the one!
(The same thing mom and dad are both thinking!)
What a cute couple!

smile if you have a concert tonight!
Lil, Cade, Dass & Viv have all LOVED being a part of the Valley Troubadours- choir and band taught by Cathy LaFrombois. It was a beautiful evening!
Thanks to relatives and friends who came to listen!
Including Granny... who can't ever resist a concert!
 2 blessed grandparents
Porter is almost 7 months old!
So why is he up nursing 2-3x every night?! (we both love it ;)
What a growing boy!
"Hey mom, are my shoes edible?"
"Cade! Mom's looking everywhere for her keys. Let's go for a spin!"
"Can you pleeeeaaase make a crown in my hair?"
This is about as close is we got!

On the way to a town near Madison, the clouds looked like ocean waves.
